BAMO Memorial Foundation 2nd Annual Health Fair: BAMO BBQ Medical Camp 2024 @ Olorongai Shopping centre

On March 17, 2024, the BAMO Memorial Foundation successfully hosted its 2nd Annual Health Fair, aptly named the BAMO BBQ Medical Camp 2024, in Olorongai, Menengai West, Nakuru, @ Olorongai Shopping centre. This monumental event was marked by the dedication of 12 medical professionals, including specialists and volunteers, who provided vital healthcare services to the local community.

Medical Team

The health fair was spearheaded by a team of experienced medical personnel:

  • Dr. Calistus – of Tuti Medical Health
  • Dr. Elizabeth – from Bentany Medical Hospital
  • Dr. Bosire
  • Four clinical officers
  • Five nurses
  • Four psychologists and mental health specialists

Together, these professionals brought a wealth of knowledge and compassion, ensuring that residents received comprehensive medical attention.

Community Engagement

The residents of Olorongai, led by Chief Omondi and Menengai West MCA, Rottock, turned out in impressive numbers, with approximately 450 community members benefitting from the free medical clinic. This turnout highlighted the critical need for accessible healthcare services in the area.
