David Ondieki

David Ondieki: Chairman of BAMO Memorial Foundation and Advocate for Community health .

David Ondieki is a notable healthcare leader with a career at Alberta Health Services and Covenant Health since 2010, where he has worked on the frontlines and in management. His experience equips him to tackle healthcare challenges, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. As Health Director at Driftpile Cree Nation (2021-2022), he initiated health programs and coordinated disaster management, enhancing community resilience.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma, a Nursing Degree from Athabasca University, and an MBA from Texas A&M University. This diverse education enables him to address healthcare issues holistically.

A dedicated community servant, David volunteers with various organizations and has been Chair & Executive Director and change BMF Chair of the Association of Kenyans in Alberta since 2018, fostering support among Kenyans in the area. He also ran for the Liberal Party in the 2021 Canadian Federal elections, gaining insights from the experience.

As Chairman of the BAMO Memorial Foundation, David aims to leverage his expertise to advance the foundation’s initiatives. He prioritizes family and believes in a balanced life, demonstrating a deep commitment to service and community advocacy that significantly impacts healthcare and beyond.

Elijah Ondieki

Mr. Elijah Ondieki was born in Kahawa, a small village in Nyamira County. He has spent most of his life in rural towns across Kenya, which has enabled him to gain a profound understanding of the myriad issues faced by the country’s most vulnerable populations. Elijah has worked with various small yet reputable organizations, including Elimo Electronics and BAMO Enterprises, and is currently serving at Elimo Investments.

His vast experience, combined with a solid educational background from the prestigious Makerere University, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Management, has propelled him up the career ladder. He now holds the position of Director at Elimo Investments. As a Kenyan politician, Elijah has traversed rural areas of Kenya while campaigning for the 2022 elections under a major political party. This engagement has provided him with valuable insights into the needs of many impoverished citizens, experiences that will undoubtedly contribute to BAMO Memorial’s mission in achieving its goals.

Elijah is not only a team player; he is also passionate about serving people. He eagerly looks forward to taking on the role of Treasurer for the BAMO Memorial Foundation, where he aims to be part of a dedicated team committed to serving the community through BMF initiatives.

Joshua Ondieki

Joshua is a versatile and skilled Event Coordinator with over eight years of experience in organizing and executing large-scale events. His work with the BAMO Memorial Foundation has been instrumental in creating positive impacts within the community, showcasing his commitment to service.

His notable strengths include:

  • Exceptional Creativity: Joshua consistently brings innovative ideas to event planning, ensuring each event is unique and engaging.
  • Adaptability: He navigates the challenges of tight deadlines and rapidly changing circumstances, demonstrating flexibility in his planning processes.

In addition to his event coordination skills, Joshua is currently practicing as a Registered Nurse. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Midwestern State University, USA, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSC) from Nkumba University, Uganda, and an Associate Degree of Arts from Tarrant Community College, USA. This diverse educational background further enhances his organizational and analytical capabilities.

Patrick Ondieki

Patrick is a devoted Information Technology specialist, Project Management professional and Security Officer. He holds a master’s degree in project management (MSc PM) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, a bachelor’s in business information technology (BBIT) and diploma in Computer Science (DCS) from Nkumba University, Uganda. Patrick has a strong technical and Management skills experience for over ten years from various organizations. Possess comprehensive knowledge in the latest Information Technology, Project Management software applications and Security skills that are vital in the realization of BAMO Memorial Foundation goals.

Patrick was born and raised in Nyamira County, Kenya. Currently a resident in Nairobi County, Utawala, where he lives with his wife and children. He is a product of results-driven and detail-oriented, team player and values client’s satisfaction on their projects.

Patrick is a key player to Nevap Contractors and Property Management, where he manages the organization’s operations since 2016, ICT Instructor and National Security officer since 2007, thus he brings with him a lifetime experience in projects, ICT and Security skills to BAMO Memorial Foundation. BMF is proud to have Patrick in its team and will work hard to ensure that the community needs are satisfied as expounded by its mission and vision.

Eirine Omayio

Board Member

Eirine Omayio is an accomplished nursing professional with 18 years of experience, currently serving as a Registered Nurse at Venta Care Long-Term Care. She began her career as an LPN, holding a Practical Nurse certification from Francis Tuttle Technology Center in Oklahoma, USA, and later earned her Bachelor of Nursing from Athabasca University, Canada. Eirine’s extensive clinical skills and compassionate care have been instrumental in enhancing the well-being of her patients.

As a board member of the BAMO Memorial Foundation, Eirine leverages her healthcare expertise to support the organization’s mission of serving underprivileged communities. Her background equips her with unique insights into delivering exceptional socio-economic and health services, making her a valuable asset in advocating for and improving community wellness. Eirine is dedicated to fostering positive change and upliftment within the community through her work with BAMO.
